Do you have a creative mind? Has God blessed you with the talent of art or design? If so, we are looking for ideas for a new St. Joseph Parish Logo. We are revamping our Parish signs this year, and we would like to incorporate an updated logo on the signs.
Logos being considered should reflect the Mission of St. Joseph’s: To foster a spirit-filled faith community united in Jesus Christ. We share who we are and what we have received through our worship of God, the nurturing of faith and outreach in service and

On April 25, a devastating magnitude-7.8 earthquake struck Nepal. Avalanches were reported in the Himalayas, including on Mount Everest. The quake, the largest to hit the country since 1934, has killed or injured thousands in Nepal, Tibet, Bangladesh and at the Nepal-China border. Many are feared trapped under rubble and the number of casualties is expected to rise. At least 15 aftershocks, ranging from magnitude 5 to 6.6, caused further damage to buildings and increased the risk of collapse.
More than six million people live within 60 miles of the epicenter, located some 50 miles northwest of the densely populated capital Katmandu which itself has a population of 2.5 million. Buildings and infrastructure have been damaged and destroyed. Electricity and telephone connectivity is intermittent and mobile services are experiencing heavy congestion. Hospitals continue to function but are stretched to the limits.
Working with Caritas Nepal, Catholic Relief Services (CRS) plans to help 10,000 families with emergency shelter, blankets, water treatment kits, and hygiene kits. Additional supplies and emergency personnel are on the way.
To help those affected by the earthquake, St. Joseph’s has sent a check to aid Catholic Relief Services efforts. To learn more about the relief efforts or to make a contribution, go to www.crs.org or www.redcross.org. Thank you for your continued prayers for those affected by the earthquake.
As members of St. Joseph, we are called to be each other’s keepers. Can you help with a new ministry at St. Joseph?
Lettuce Serve You is a new ministry that began this past weekend at the 30 Hour Fast with our middle and high school youth. They prepared 36 frozen meals for delivery to parishioners. Who are these parishioners that will receive a meal? They are neighbors in need support, encouragement and congratulations and we need you to help us find them!
Do you know someone who just had a baby, surgery or health issue, or a loved one pass away? Maybe it’s someone who just moved or lost their job. Maybe they got exciting new promotion. Lettuce serve you is an opportunity to be community to one another through the gift of food and prayers.
