Planning and preparing for the sacrament of Eucharist is a wonderfully exciting time for both parents and children.
The mystery of this sacrament prepares the children to receive their first Communion.
Families begin this preparation by enrolling their children in the Faith Formation Classes (Sunday School) and parents and children participate in the four required Eucharistic Preparation Sessions.

The family is responsible for purchasing the First Eucharist Book, and together the parents and child work on their assignments.
When classes are completed, and families feel their child is ready, they determine and schedule the First Eucharist Ceremony date by contacting the Director of Children and Adult Formation. Date and time are your choice; there are no First Eucharists during Lent, except for Holy Thursday). There will also be one Group First Communion date communicated at the Eucharist preparation.
