Stephen Ministry is a caring ministry for both those who are called to assist people in need and a compassionate ministry for those who seek consoling.
STEPHEN MINISTERS
Stephen Ministers are volunteers that are VIRTUS trained and also receive specialized, supported training to provide one-to-one lay caring for those in need. Trained Stephen Ministers typically meet the third Thursday of the month, September through May.
These trained volunteers provide high quality, compassionate, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting or going through challenging times.
Stephen Ministers partner with parishioners on their journey through grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness and other life crises, providing listening, prayer, and emotional and spiritual support.
