Based on the healing ministry of Jesus, St. Joseph's Pastoral Care Ministry provides quality care to all individuals regardless of age, status, ethnic/racial origins, or creed. We offer support in time of questioning, transition, death, illness or crisis.
Our Pastoral Care Ministry consists of a team that includes a Director and trained volunteer pastoral ministers who work closely with the Pastor. All trained volunteers provide effective, non-judgmental, confidential caring ministry.
If you would like to become a volunteer member of the pastoral ministers or would like pastoral care services, please feel free to call ANY time. After office hours emergencies, such as critical emergencies or death, call the Parish Office at 763-544-3352. A pastoral team member will get back to you as soon as possible.
HOMEBOUND EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS
If you are homebound and would appreciate having communion brought to you, our homebound Communion Ministers would be available to bring the bread and Word to you. Your sharing in the body of Christ is important to the faith community.
HOME / HOSPITAL / NURSING HOME VISITS
If you would like to schedule a visit, or you would like to join the ministry that provides the visits, please call the Parish Pastoral Office.
PRAYER SUPPORT
Parishioners who are ill and wish the prayer support of their community may call the pastoral office for that support. Your name or (by permission) the name of your loved one will be added to the Prayers of the Faithful and listed in the bulletin and website.
